Dear Parents/Guardians,
Welcome to Riverside Fun Camp! We have many exciting things planned for your little ones, including literacy, drama, sports, games, crafts, and dance! All of our supervisors and counsellors are trained in CPR and First Aid. We change our activities every 45 minutes so it is impossible for your child to get bored! Our cost is $15 per day per child. Our rotations start at 9AM.

Reminders
- Please bring a healthy lunch with two snacks and a water bottle.
- Please do not bring any nut or peanut products. They will be thrown away. We have some campers with severe allergies and our location is a nut-free school.
- Please bring proper footwear for your child (sneakers). Flip-flops are very dangerous because we are very active during the day.
- Please ensure your child is dresssed for summer weather: shorts, t-shirt, and a hat.
- Please ensure you put sunscreen on your child before you bringing them to camp. We spend a great deal of time outside.
- Wednesday is WATER DAY! We spend the last part of the afternoon getting wet so please bring: sunscreen, a towel, a bathing suit, and a seperate pair of shoes!
- If your child is six and under, we require that you always bring an extra pair of clothes in case of bathroom accidents.

Discipline
Our discipline policy is for the safety of our campers. If your child refuses to listen or participate, they will have to be sent home. We have a three-strike policy and you will be notified if there is a problem.

Sign In/Sign Out
We take the safety of our campers very seriously. You must sign your child in and out everyday. We do not allow parents in the gym. We will be happy to bring your child out to the front desk. If someone else must pick up your child, we require written consent and whoever is picking them up must show photo ID.

Groups
For safety reasons, all campers are split into groups according to the ages for rotations. For full camp activities and lunch, the whole camp will be together.

Here at Fun Camp, each week is a new adventure! All of our activities will revolve around a theme. Here are some of our theme weeks for Fun Camp 2011!

Week One: Welcome to Summer Fun
Campers will learn new songs, games, and do fun summer themes crafts! On Friday, we'll have crazy hair day!

Week Two: Dino Discovery Week
Campers will learn all about dinosaurs, read stories, and sing songs all week and, on Friday, we go on a dino egg dig and dress up as our favourite disnsaur!

Week Three: When I Grow Up Week
Campers will discover lots of options of what they could be when they grow up! Special guests will come in and talk about their professions. We will learn about different careers and read stories about the jobs you can have when you are older!

Week Four: Space is the Place
Fun Camp will turn into a super galaxy this week! We will learn all about planets and our universe this week. Our crafts and songs will be out of this world! Friday, dress up like the silliest alien you can think of!

Week Five: Superhero Week
Fun Camp will explore real life heroes this week! We will read stories and sing songs about what it's like to be a real hero! Friday, we will dress up as our favourite super heroes!

Week Six: Fun Camp's Got Talent
This week we will discover everyone is good at something! We will have time to practice all of our talents, whether it's singing, dancing, acting, sports, or acrobatics! Stall will guide campers in an act and on Friday, we will have the ultimate talent show!

Week Seven: Summer Beach Bum Blues
It's so long until next summer! This week we will focus about all the friendships and memories we mades. We will make friendship bracelets, make memory books, and on Friday, have a giant beach party to celebrate the end of a great summer!
